Dear Ron-

Please accept my apology for not writing to you sooner. My schedule has been unduly crowded since the Master's Hearing.

I did want to take the time to let you know how much my client appreciated your testimony on his behalf. There was really no comparison between your testimony and that of the opposing "expert". In fact, with your testimony, I felt that we had detonated a nuclear weapon to kill an ant.

Your vast credentials certainly supported the credibility of your opinion. However, I believe the most effective aspect was your personal appearance. I declined an opportunity to have counsel stipulate to your report so that you could appear live. Your presentation was not only knowledgeable but understandable and interesting enough to keep the Master's complete attention.

In addition, you handled the opposing counsel's attempt to draw you into damaging testimony with ease. I was impressed with your ability not only to comprehend quickly where he was going with his questioning, but to think quickly enough to sidestep his efforts to put words in your mouth.

Ron, you certainly give an impression of an expert who is genuinely interested in the facts of the case, and not of the standard expert who is "paid to testify".
